The revolts in the arabic world have been welcomed all over Europe but the Gouvernments do not welcome refugees and migrants from there or from other regions who make use of their human right of Freedom of movement. European gouvernments still fight against them by all means, with ships and helicopters of the EU-border-agency FRONTEX. But also those people who succeeded to come inside the „Fortress Europe" don‘t have the right to a normal life, they don‘t have the same rights and experience discrimination. In the law concerning „the asylum-seeker-benefits“ (“Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz”) it is said that refugees in Germany should live under inhuman conditions in camps. They are subjected to benefits in-kind from public authorities and do not have sufficient success to health care.
Social benefits for refugees have not been changed since 1993 (!) and are one third lower than the normal benefit that is inhuman anyway. The dependence of refugees on the small social benefits is further cemented through work prohibitions and subordinated access to the job market. That means a job is only accesable if no other person with EU-passport or other papers with more rights is ready to do it. Furthermore, access to German classes and education is being systematically impeded. At the same time, refugees are denied their human right to freedom of movement through „compulsory residency“ (“Residenzpflicht”). All these and other special laws collectively constitute a legal complex of oppression, isolation and social exclusion. The goal of this state-enacted exclusion is to enable easier deportation of refugees and to discourage people from even coming to Germany in the first place.

Besides the „Zentrale Aufnahmestelle" in Habenhausen in Bremen exist three Camps, where humans must live together in confined space: in Huchting a Container-Camp with 150 beds opposite of a recycling place (Wardamm); the Lager in the quarter of Hastedt for 170 persons (Ludwig-Quidde-Straße), and the Lager Vegesack (Johann-Lange-Straße).
A few weeks ago the Bremen Gouvernment decided that refugees must stay in the Camp for at least one year. At first sight this looks like an improvement (until then it was three years and it still is two years in Bremerhaven), but for 500 people this means a life of forced standstill and isolation. And after one year many can not find an own appartment anyway, with is due to the fact that for example the GEWOBA as well as other housing companies rejects to rent an appartment to people with only 3 or 6 month visa.
Gifhorn, Meiningen or Augsburg - refugees in many locations across Germany are struggling against intolerable living conditions through strikes and protests (http://thecaravan.org). In Bremen people who fled their homes from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and other countries to Bremen now demand on the on 14th of may together with other activists and supporters:

Appartments instead of forced living in Heim fo all refugees in Bremen!
No ban from work for refugees! No deportations!
Racist refugee legislation is to abolish NOW! It is not reformable -
Human dignity and freedom of movement are not negotiable! Papers fo all!
