Dear friends and activists,
we call on you and invite to join us in Nürnberg on the 26th of July. We are organising a manifestation and a vigil in front of the Federal Office for Migrantion and Refugees (BAMF) for our activist Ali Safianou Touré. Below you read the call and here you find a video documentation from the recent manifestation at the administrative court in Schwerin: Ali Safianou Touré: „The struggle continues!“ Video: http://vimeo.com/45851198
Our protest in Nürnberg includes at the same time all refugees in Germany who are fighting for their rights – especially the refugees in the protest tents in Aub, Würzburg, Regensburg, Bamberg, Düsseldorf, Bramsche/Osnabrück as well as the onces who will follow. https://thecaravan.org/tent
The protest tents against deportation, isolation and the german Lagersystem and for humanity and justice are an outstanding example for collectivism and solidarity. They deserve all possible support, meanwhile they are supporting others. The activists from the protest tents announced solidarity actions on 26th and 28th of July in support of Ali Safianou Touré. A declaration will follow.
Since 16th of July the refugee activists from Aub are on hungerstrike http://asylaub.wordpress.com/ and the other protest tents join them. http://gustreik.blogsport.eu/allgemein/1-gemeinsame-pressemitteilung-de…

Call
Negative decision at the administrative court in Schwerin
Call for rally in front of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees in Nuremberg, 26th of July 2012
Ali Safianou Touré: „The fight continues!“
The willful blindness of judge Skerries of the administrative court of Schwerin prolonged the suffering of severely disabled Togolese refugee Ali Safianou Toure. Though judge Skerries had declared during the trial at 22nd of June 2012 - in presence of many friends of Mr. Ali - that he would have to reconsider the reasoning of Mr. Alis lawyer, his written sentence of June 29th deliveres a different massage. Only the ability to travel as a basis for deportation is of interest for judge Skerris an since this was confirmed by older reports of the public health authority, he refuses him to stay under §25(5) for humanitarian reasons and shifts responsibility to the Federal Office.
All reasons that speak for Mr. Ali like his long stay, his great social environment, his de facto integration, his cultural and socio-political work and his health situation is being ignored by judge Skerries. He even goes as far as making false claims. This cannot be ignored as a stupidity but shows his malice when the writes in his sentence that Mr. Ali is not able to communicate in simple German after living in Germany for 10 years.
We are SICK of the arrogance and racism of such people.
.
A judge like Skerrie should know very well about the isolation of refugees in Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns „jungle camps“ – just currently refugees of the lager in Jürgensdorf near Stevenhagen among other things, for means to be able to learn the German language. But politically this is not wanted. This is exactly why judge Skirres writes such an outrageous statement in his sentence without checking. The judge might not imagine that Mr. Ali learned that language on his own attending several courses on German language and successfully completing the test. He also relies completely on the law on residency for refugees, which constitutes the acceptance of educational opportunities in other places a punishable offense. The lawyer shall examine whether they legally proceed against the decision since for us there is no doubt of the biased or prejudiced judge.
Following the trial in Schwerin Mr. Ali stated „The fight continues“. By this he meant the struggle of refugees in Germany for their rights but also the fight against mental and physical destruction. Few days after the trial a Hamburg based orthopedist observed that water had accumulated in the legs of Mr. Ali again and ordered a heart function test. Too much stress as possible factor comes into question.
For two years we have informed the competent authorities from Mr. Alis deteriorating health. With every further delay and every further adverse decision the situation is worsened.
Ten years as a tolerated Lager-refugee with severe handicaps is too much. We demand an end to this situation and a positive decision by the Federal Office. In order to make the seriousness oft he deccision clear to the federal office, we call for:
